Resource CentreThe main functions of this resource centre are twofold: 1) To provide help for new groups of Manual Therapists, who are developing an educational program in accordance with IFOMT membership requirements (see Standards Document and Constitution on “About IFOMT”). IFOMT has a wealth of experts amongst its Member Organisations, and the people listed below, have undertaken to help with specific issues pertaining to their expertise. All of them have a working knowledge of the IFOMT Standards Document. Previously it has not been technically possible to offer this level of expertise or service. The intention is to assist colleagues who may not have access to specific expertise in their own group or country. Under each section there will be names and contact addresses. These are not “approved IFOMT Teachers”, as IFOMT does not approve anyone individual MT. The people listed under the specific categories, are all considered to be experts in their fields by each Member Organisation. Therefore we foresee that some of them may be contacted to lecture or run courses in their particular area of expertise. This is one of many ways in which IFOMT can fulfill its mission to disseminate information as widely as possible.
